Troubadour show moved to The Whiskey!!!

The show tonight at the Troubadour has been moved to The Whiskey for unforseen circumstances. The Whiskey is located at 8901 Sunset Boulevard and is within walking distance from the Troubadour. From the Troubadour take a right on Doheney and then a right on Sunset and it is just a couple blocks up on the left. We hope that you can all make it out to the show tonight. The money for tickets at the Troubadour show will be refunded from the point of purchase. Thanks in advance.

WEST COAST TOUR A SMASHING SUCCESS THUS FAR!
Goodbye Pacific Northwest! It's been a while since we had been back, but we had an absolute blast kicking off the first few shows of the tour in Spokane, Seattle, and Portland. Thanks to everyone that came out. And let us not forget the great bands we're touring with -- our old friends Limbeck and Maxeen, and our new friends Hellogoodbye -- as well as an amazing band called Challenger (formerly Milemarker) who played with us in Portland last night... Make sure you check 'em all out, as they're all amazing!

OK, for the rest of you, the tour is currently tearing its way down the West Coast and headed to your town soon. The Troubadour show in LA is most certainly going to sell-out, but there are a few tickets left, so you must hurry. Tickets for the other remaining shows are also going quick. For more info, head to the shows page.

Thanks for all of your support!

Well, well, well, we made it to lovely Spokane, WA and we're looking forward to a great show to kick off the West Coast tour... Speaking of the West Coast tour, tickets for a lot of the shows are starting to go fast -- especially for the Troubadour in LA. The Chain Reaction show is sold-out and the Troub show looks like it will do the same. Unfortunately, out split 7" with Limbeck will not be done in time for this tour, but we hope to have ready for purchase by early July.

Remember, please urge your friends and family to get out a to a Target or Best Buy store this week and pick up a copy of "I Am The Movie", which should be available at both stores for around $9.99 -- and while you're at it, might as well pick up a copy of the super-cheap "Punk-0-Rama Volume 9" compilation and the "Warped Tour 2004" comp, both of which feature the MCS.

That's it for now. Check back soon, check back often!

xoxo - MCS

Two New Headlining Shows Added & Lots More News!

A new show has been added to MCS' string of headlining dates. The band will be playing the Creepy Crawl in St. Louis, MO on Sunday, June 27. Also, in what appears to be MCS' only Michigan appearance this Summer, the band will play The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI on Monday, August 9. Tickets are on sale now. Go here for more information.

The band was back in a Minneapolis recording studio (and Josh Cain's house) recording two new acoustic tracks for their upcoming split with Matchbook Romance (out on Epitaph this Fall). Included on the split will be "When 'You're' Around", a brand new song only a few weeks old, and a re-make of a very old MCS song called "Sunday Warning" (originally released on the "Kids For America" EP).

MORE NEWS IN ONE SENTENCE OR LESS: Justin Pierre gives relationship advice in the new issue of Alternative Press... MCS/Limbeck split out VERY soon... "Punk-O-Rama 9" and Warped Tour compilation in stores on Tuesday...

MCS available at Target. Hooray!!!

If you have not been able to find our cd at your local record store, please check for it at Target. If you do not see it there, then please ask them to get it in. Remember to check the soundtrack section since they often file it in the wrong place. Hopefully having it in Target will make it easier for everyone to find our cd. Thank you soooo much.
