Long time no blog, I know. Settle down Newms. What can I say though? I don't think we really knew what to expect for this west coast headlining tour. We knew it was going to be an amazing time, but we didn't expect the crowds to be as amazing as they have been. The Chain Reaction was absolutely incredible. Some of these shows are selling out, which blows my mind. No doubt, thanks in part to Hello Goodbye, Maxeen, and Limbeck. But thanks for not leaving after them!

I'm ready for shower and bed. I stink.

My latest obsession..."My Band" by D12. That song is hilarious, not to mention it won't leave my head.

So, I can't wait to leave for tour. Well, let me rephrase, I can't wait for TOUR. The drive to Spokane from Minneapolis is going to SUCK. We're going to have a full van too. Nine people. Not cool. It'll be an amazing time once we get there though. I go to the airport tomorrow morning to pick up our good friend Eric Manwiller, an old friend from Matt and my days in Richmond, VA. You may recognize him from one of our t shirts. Can YOU say that you are on a t shirt? He's THAT cool. He'll be joining the tour working for us. This tour is going to be ridiculous. If you live anywhere near, make sure you come out. I guarantee an amazing time.

Well, it's mixing day for the acoustic songs. It's coming together. Like a said, a little different for us, but I hope everyone likey. You get a sneak peak at my personal new favorite song of ours, "When You're Around", all stripped down and acoustic. Then, when you hear the rock version, it hopefully will rattle your bowels. My mission is to rattle bowels.

Maybe you heard the news, if not, I will break it here. Today we start recording a couple of acoustic songs for a split with Matchbook Romance. Something kind of different for us, we haven't really done much acoustic before. Should be interesting, wish us luck.

Got to see the always lovely Letterkills play earlier today. Hung out and ate pizza at Luce with them. Much love.
