well, here's what happenned. i was walking by a popular intersection at lake and hennepin. some one is blasting loud music out of their car and singing along at the top of their lungs. the song - the future freaks me out. the band - motion city soundtrack. weird, but awesome.

Blogging while I cook my Velveeta shells and cheese...
Well, the job hunt officially got underway today. I applied at Mars Music. I have some friends there so hopefully something can get worked out. We shall see. My good friend Eric of the band Peru(www.perurock.com) is going to try and help me get in. My money is going to run out quick! The future freaks me out. HA! Sorry, a little not funny MCS lyric humour(I opt for the british spelling) for you. Even though my money is running out quick, I still spend it! I bought some cd's today too. The new Q and not U EP, Denali and a special Tenacious D 4 song Ep only available at some stores. NERD ALERT! Denali keeps growing on me every time I hear them. The new Q and not U I'm not too happy with. They are now a 3 piece and it is hurting them. I am so upset because they are one of my favorite bands. And the D can always make me laugh. 3 cd's and i spent under $20. BARGAIN HUNTER:TONY T.
Some friends are coming over to watch Donnie Darko, so I should go...and my shells and cheese are done. mmmmm.

Before I say anything, let me say that on Monday night, I, Tony Thaxton, along with Jesse Johnson, watched the entire Star Wars trilogy in one night. Maybe thats not that impressive of a feat, but I was proud. Go head, make fun of me if you want. But I am a Star Wars nerd. Always have been. I'm totally psyched for Episode 2. The new trailer is badass. Only like 2 more weeks.
I'm back home in Richmond now. Feels nice to sleep in my own bed, shower in my own shower. Good times. I'm already ready to play some rock shows again though. But its always nice to get back and see everyone again. I've already eaten at two of my favorite Richmond restaurants, and I've only been back for less than 24 hours. All we eat on tour is pizza, and strangely since tour is over, I've been craving pizza. I ate at the good pizza place today, and now I have no energy. It sucked it all out of me. Maybe I'll go and nap now.

My last day is Minnesota. I'm anxious to get back to Richmond, VA and see my friends and sleep in my bed. I'm NOT looking forward to finding a job. I don't want to work. I just want to rock. First of all, a note to self...Tony, don't blog or post on the message board when you are really tired. Too many typos, and worst of all, I blogged as Jesse. So that last blog by Jesse, was actually yours truly. I think I am recovered now.
Two more days until I go back to VA. And what the hell is up with this Minnesota weather? Yesterday, APRIL 27, it snowed its ass off outside. It snowed more yesterday than it did the entire time I was here in February. Does that make sense? NO. And today it is supposed to be in the 50's I think. I don't get it.
Yesterday's show in Morris turned out to be a lot of fun. Quiet fun. It was by far the quietest MCS had been on this tour. We actually played in a church, which I think may have been a first for us. But it was originally supposed to be outside, but with the snow, I think it was for the better. The night was capped off with some beer and Eddie Murphy. Not to be confused with beer WITH Eddie Murphy. That would be a whole different blog altogether.
