The Mexican is on HBO right now. I've been watching it, but it's not very good. So therefore, it's blog time. On one of the other movie channels right now, there is a movie called The Texican. So, The Mexican AND The Texican are on at the same time.

It's official. I am now unemployed. My last day of work was yesterday. It's kind of wierd thinking you won't be going back to the place you have worked at for three years. Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset about it. It's just wierd, that's all. Hopefully i can get something good lined up financilly once we get back home from tour. Even more hopefully, how about I don't work at all anymore? Any takers?

So I am doing a paid(woo hoo) recording session tomorrow. The band Rockbot here in RVA asked me to play drums on a few songs for their recording tomorrow. I am kind of excited about that, I love recording. I could stand to know their songs a little better, but I think they are easily fakeable. Is that a word? Someone else pay me to record, that way I don't have to work. Any takers? Eh, it's worth a shot.

So I think I am going to see Death To Smoochy today. I am awaiting a phone call about that. Hopefully it provides some laughs. I read a review saying its very dark and very funny. Sounds like my kind of movie. We shall see.

People really do read the blogger. I don't know how many, but I've gotten confimation on it. I'll get the figures later.

So after 32094 phone calls and 39487 emails, I think I have finally booked a Richmond show for the April tour. I have to lock it all down tonight, so hopefully that will go as planned. I'm excited to play my hometown again. Not to quote a terrible song, but, "It's been awhile".

Josh called me earlier today and finishing the record is going splendidly. I can't wait to hear the finished product. Yes sir.

Tomorrow is my last day of work. Wierd. I'm jobless come 4 o' clock tomorrow. Tour tour tour. Love to tour. Can't wait.

This is a blog full of short pointless stories.

That paragraph was only one sentence.

So was that one.

Todays celebrity birthday, Vince Vaughn is 32.

Well the "boys" are down in Eudorka Cans-ass to finish our record. I am currently unemployed and have little to do. I try cooking new things all the time (I'm going to be the first rocker to stop rocking and become an Iron Chef). Yesterday I tried making some ice cream, and it turned out ok, but not great. Ask Josh. He had a taste.

I still don't believe anyone reads this. If you do, email me at austin@team-mcs.com.

I really, really love hockey. I got some nifty hockey action figures (they're not dolls, honest). I think I'm going to try repainting one in a Minnesota Wild uniform. Thats how dorky I am. Of course, no one reads this, so how would the secret get out.

The sickness if out of me. Yes indeedy, Ally Sheedy.

The song I can not get out of my head, "California" by Phantom Planet. It won't go away. I was at Target earlier today, somewhere I seem to end up a little too often for some reason, and the Phantom Planet cd was on sale for $7. SEVEN DOLLARS I SAY!!! How could I pass it up? It was too tempting. I'm actually digging it. Its very good in a very wanky kind of way. Fun stuff. Although it makes me think about Rushmore, and how I need to add it to my DVD collection...hmmmm....

I am getting really frustrated. We still need a show for April 10th on our tour. Everyone I call in my own hometown of Richmond, VA is not coming through for me. I've talked to alot of people already, and I still have a lot of people checking into it for me. Hopefully some confusion gets cleared up soon, though probobly not right away. Damn. Damn damn. Someone help!

Man in the Moon is on tv right now. Andy Kaufman was truly insane and brilliant. There are things I really like about that movie, and some things I don't. I don't like how they feel the need to change things that are based on a true story. I've read some of Kaufman's biography, and in the movie, the change the chronology of certain events for "dramatic purposes". Bull poo. Thats what I say. Tell it like it was. Sorry, didn't mean to go off on that.

Back to work tomorrow. My last week as a Maintenance Warehouse employee. Wierd. I've been there for 3 years. Trust me, I'm not sad at all, it's just wierd to leave something after 3 years, no matter what it is. I am excited about moving on. I can't wait to tour. It's been over a year since the last time I was out for more than 4 days playing music. It's been a long time since I've rock and rolled. Been a long time, been a long time, been on long, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely lonely time.

Todays celebrity birthday, Kelly LeBrock is 42? Really???? Next thing you know you'll be wearing a bra on your head.
