I get back from Minnesota, and I start spending too much money. In my head I'm saying, I go back to my job next week, I'll be making more money soon. Which is probobly stupid of me. But we all need our fun money, right? I went out bowling with some friends last night, and I spent over $80 at the record store. Something I'm not sure I've ever done in one visit. Purchases; Les Savy Fav: ROME, The Faint: Danse Macabre, Rock Music: A Tribute to Weezer, The Police: Message in a Box, The Complete Recordings. I know what youre thinking, the same thing I am, isnt it stupid to have a tribute album for Weezer, already? The answer, yes. The even dumber thing, this is the second one that I have seen. I had heard some of it, but I just went ahead and bought it. Some of it is terrible, and moments are pretty cool. Most notably, The Stereo's "El Scorcho" and Mock Orange's "Only in Dreams". I was told I really should buy The Police box set. Something I had almost bought about 234 times before, but last night I found it in the used bin. NOW IT'S MINE!!! I'm only a little ways into the first disc, but I'm digging the hell out of it so far. Stewart Copeland, mmmmm. What happened to Sting?

Day 2 back in Richmond. I slept until 1:00 today. I needed it, alright?

It's good to be home, though I did have a good time in MN. It's a little wierd being home. I'm noticing really dumb things that I got used to in MN. Things like, wow, that TV is high up off the ground. Or, wow, thats alot of water pressure. Fantastic revelations by Tony T. It's been nice though. Got to see my good friends and (former)bandmates. Speaking of which, my other band, My Parents' Birthday, is in need of a drummer. I know what youre thinking, "don't you play the drums Tony?" Well yes i do. But not in that band. I sing and play guitar, or at least try to. But my bandmates, Curtis, Jeff and myself want to keep it going. So if anyone knows a good drummer, drop me an email...MyParentsBrthday@aol.com. Maybe i could send you an Mp3 or something as well. Fun fun.

Todays celebrity birthday, John Turturro is 45. "You said it man. Nobody fuck with da jesus"

the computer is fragmenting.

i have no frame of reference.

had an epiphany(sp?) last night in group... a normal person when faced with the dilema of having to take off thier gloves in order to open the lightweight plastic baggies in cub foods in order to fill them with pounds of blow pops to feed the void left from the lack of cigarette intake, would do just that: take thier fucking gloves off. i spent 15 entire minutes fumbling with literally hundreds of those god damned bags, shredding, tearing, destroying them before just yelling "fuck!" at the top of my lungs and kicking the candy stand. needless to say, i left without blow pops and am now willing to admit that yes, i do have a problem.

go detroit!

Has everyone forgotten how to blog?

Well, here I am. My last day in Minneapolis. Whats on the agenda you ask? I have no idea, other than end the day by seeing Mr. Ben Folds playing a solo piano show tonight at First Avenue. I can't wait. I'm totally gay for Ben Folds. I saw Ben Folds Five four times. I've seen his new band once, and tonight we're going to see just him. Should be interesting. So after the show, come back, get some sleep, wake up early as hell tomorrow to fly back home to Richmond.

We had a very sloppy show at the 7th Street Entry on Sunday night. Thats what we get for not praciticing after recording I guess. Matt Pond PA was quite good. I hadn't heard them before. They produced some lovely sounds. I got their new cd, but have not gotten a chance to listen to it yet. Lots of new music to listen to on the plane. Matt Pond PA, Rhode Island, The Prom, and don't forget, Hoobastank. I'm lying about one of those. Can you guess which one? Maybe this can be a contest. Post on the message board.

Todays celebrity birthday, Johnny Cash is 70.

Motion City Soundtrack tonight at the 7th Street Entry. In case you didn't know.

So tonight is possibly my last MCS stint during my first stay here in Minneapolis. I hop on a plane early Wednesday morning to head back to Richmond, VA. Get back to work. Get back to where you once belonged. Get back JoJo. Then, meet up with the MCS boys again in April for tour. MacRock, are we playing you?

Saw Storytelling last night. Pretty darn good. I enjoyed Happiness more, but I still liked it. It's one of those movies that I think about the next day, and it grows on me even more. A bit disturbing at times, but thats expected, being a Todd Solondz movie. Apparently it was the victim of some heavy editing as well. Will we see that on the DVD? I hope. Supposedly entire characters were edited out. James Vanderbeek. "They were filming that?"

Todays celebrity birthday, Barry Bostwick is 56. "Who is Barry Bostwick?"
